The fifth and final SEC team to receive an NCAA bid is Ole Miss, coached by Carol Ross, in her fourth year at the helm of the Lady Rebels. #7 Seed Ole Miss will face #10 seed Texas Christian University on Sunday, March 18, 2007 at the Hartford Civic Center in Hartford, CT. Tip-off is scheduled for 12 p.m. EST and is scheduled to be broadcast on ESPN2.
The winner of this game will face the winner of #2 seed Maryland vs. #15 seed Harvard.
This match-up features two teams which are heading in opposite directions; Ole Miss lost 5 of their last 6 games going into the NCAAs, whereas TCU won 6 of their last 8, before falling to Utah in their conference tournament quarterfinals 68-67. Ole Miss and TCU have identical records at 21-10.
