TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) -- Georgia got out to a big lead in the first half and had no intention of letting Alabama get back in the game in the second half.

Christy Marshall scored a career-high 17 points and reserve Angel Robinson had 18 points and 10 rebounds in ninth-ranked the Lady Bulldog's 92-51 victory over the Crimson Tide on Thursday night.

Georgia ran off 16 unanswered points after allowing Alabama to score the first two baskets of the game, then held the Crimson Tide scoreless for 7 1/2 minutes later in the first half on the way to a 46-20 lead at the intermission.

Georgia then went on a 16-4 run over the first 6 minutes of the second half to push its lead to 38, and never led by less than 32 points the rest of the way.

"At halftime we discussed how we needed to come back and stick it to them again," said Ashley Houts, Georgia's point guard. "I felt like we did a good job of putting it in their minds that they didn't have a chance."
