UGA Lady Dawgs meet DT3 and Janese Hardrick again?
Tonight the Lady Dawgs kick off their pre-season by hosting the first of two exhibition games at Stegeman Coliseum. Former UGA player, Janese Hardrick will once again grace the floor, but this time she'll be dressed in opposing colors. A member of the Atlanta-DT3 team, Hardrick is only one of the notable former collegiate athletes squaring off against the No. 10* dawgettes. In addition to Hardrick, Dalila Eshe (Florida), Taneshia Thompson and Tia Miller (Auburn) are all former SEC stars playing on DT3.

UGA returns three starters anchored by senior Tasha Humphrey who averaged 16.1 ppg last season. Blend in the skillz of sophomores Christy Marshall and Angel Robinson peppered with the three-point shots of Ashley Houts (34.4% last year) and UGA should be serving up some smokin' hot basketball this season.

When asked about how he thinks his players will fare against DT3, coach Andy Landers had this to say: "For the most part, practices have been very good," he said. "We've gotten to what's hard. We've gotten past the simple, quick and easy stuff that you have every year with a basketball team. You get to a point to where you have to do things differently to improve and that, unfortunately, has the team stymied a little bit right now. I don't feel like we're moving ahead."

Will coach Landers concerns be realized or will our lady dawgs do more than just bark tonight? Don't forget, UGA was ranked in the Top 10 in virtually every pre-season poll this year. And even though they began team practices only three weeks ago, on paper and in our hearts, they'll be showing they deserve that ranking and more! Go Lady Dawgs!!

**UPDATE:  The DT3 team played Florida State yestreday and lost by a score of 61-89.  Below is a copy of the DT3 boxscore for that game.
