A significant change in the landscape of the history of women's college basketball occurred on Monday when the Associated Press released its weekly poll.
Following a loss to Baylor last weekend, Texas fell from the AP rankings. With that, the Lady Dogs tied the Longhorns for the third-most weeks ranked since the news service began its women's poll 29 years ago as outlined to the right.
Simultaneously, Andy Landers moved into a tie with Texas' Jody Conradt among the list of head coaches of ranked teams. Since the beginning of the 1981-82 season, Landers' third in Athens, the Lady Dogs have been ranked in 376 of 470 polls released - 82.1 percent of the time.
