Gamecocks Rule on SEC Academic Honor Roll

The Southeastern Conference released the 2006-07 Winter Academic Honor Roll Tuesday, April 18. Among the 32 Gamecocks making the roster were 10 members of the women’s basketball team. South Carolina placed more women’s basketball players on the team than any other SEC school.
Among the Gamecocks who made the team were: sophomore forward Demetress Adams, a Psychology major; senior guard Stacy Booker, a Tech Support and Training Management major; sophomore guard Brionna Dickerson, a Business major; Shannel Harris, senior guard, a Business major; senior guard Lauren Simms, an Exercise Science major and senior forward Lakesha Tolliver, majoring in Sport and Entertainment Management.
The rest of the Gamecocks to make the team came from the four international players on the roster: Ilona Burgrova, a junior center from the Czech Republic, majoring in Exercise Science; Lea Fabbri, a senior point guard from Croatia, majoring in Math; Larissa Kulscar, a senior forward from Romania who is an International Business major and Iva Sliskovic, senior, a Croatian forward majoring in International Studies.
